Miss Banks is back with the newest track from her mixtape. It’s been such an enjoyable journey watching/listening as she’s both revealed and developed her sound slowly. We’ve grown accustomed to her playful sound and aggressive vocals, but we’re still waiting on something as viscerally exciting as 212. However, she comes off much more unique and rawer than Nicki Minaj; audiences inevitably draw the comparison between the two. Gotta love her tropic theme here, which evokes Lil Wayne’s 6’7”- perfect for the emerging warm weather.

Still, this track is bananaz.

Lana Del Rey-Blue Jeans Feat. Azealia Banks (Foster The People Remix)

Let this track act as a perfect summation of the last two years of culturally significant music. Del Rey, the bad girl “gangsta Nancy Sinatra” remixed by those indie kids with the pumped kicks who actually want to inflict violence on hipsters “you better run from gun” in addition to Miss Azealia, our favorite up and coming rapper, far filthier than anyone you’ve ever heard and don’t confuse her with Iggy Azaelia.

This track takes some time to warm up, but once it does get ready to boogie. Scissor Sisters know how to make a song a you’ll wanna dance to. Furthermore, a general rule of thumb: if you see Azealia’s name on anything, bank on it being awesome!

Never ignore an Azealia Banks release! Especially when this girl has just signed to Universal! Mazel, baby! This track lacks her usual lyrical vigor, but she’s still our fav gurl rapper who always demonstrates her vocal prowess over consistently unique beats. She is soooo now.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Every time Az releases a new single we’re compelled to post it. This obsession is growing similar to our serious infatuation with Florence + The Machine! Could that partnership ever occur? What an apocalyptic thought: demure versus dirtyyy, but it would represent an epic, fantasy collaboration from our two fav artists atm!

Another female rapper with an answer to House/Electro. Don’t be fooled by Azealia Banks’s initial Ke$ha-esq vocals, this song transforms from a dance track to hardcore hip-hop. Trust us, it’s a fun journey with filthy lyrics. She can sing, rap, and kill it over sick beats that make ya wanna dance! LMFAO better move over with this new edition to the Electro/Hip-Hop community, scratch that, there’s no competition here. Enjoy the new Party Rock in the house tonight.
