In some peculiar turn of events this track has become a chart topper in the UK. Not to denigrate the Afrobeat, which is actually pretty fun in a booty shaking way, but the lyrics…this is Mambo No. 5 updated i.e an enumeration of women D’banj (aka Caspar Llywellyn Smith) fancies. We’re also still struggling to make the connection between Dickens and this track, better to jive more, think less- the current mantra of pop music production.
