Ocean has been on our radar since his super cool release Nostalgia, Ultra, however this takes his work to a new level. Writing a 10 minute track somewhat suggests an “opus” and this really seems like the making of something special. Ocean croons over just subtle enough house to keep your attention, but not too much to delve into the genre’s inherent cheesiness, but the track has a smooth segmentation that keeps you wanting more. This is like a more easily digestible version of The Weeknd- in fact it’s like a day at the beach away from The Weeknd’s existential drug haze.
