In a sense this song mirrors the career of Joy Division’s front man, Ian Curtis: an outwardly enthralling sound that absorbs its dark demeanor. Fast paced rifts that almost seem too rapid to be upbeat, Curtis used his music to escape his own demons, which truly comes through. This track sound like he feared if he stopped running, his nightmares would envelop him,  like one massive race ending in a gigantic, defeated, breathless collapse.
